Salvation Rock Christmas Time

About the Album

Each song on this CD has a story.  I don’t have room for everyone; however I will share a little information on a few.

  • Christmas Time – how appropriate for it to be the first title on this CD,  It was the first Christmas song I wrote at fifteen years old. (1969).
  • Silent Shine – is the only original lyrics that are co-authored. The music set to a poem written by my son Jonah when he was about fourteen. I had lost the poem so while working on its completion I remembered as much as I could and filled in the gaps.
  • Unto The Least of These – does not have the theme of Christmas, yet its message carries the spirit of this time of year; looking at someone’s needs, and filling them
  • Grandma ‘s Christmas – is of course dedicated to my grandmother,  whose heart is as big as the world, who would give the most unique Christmas gifts one could ever wish for.
  • Excited about Christmas – is dedicated to the person that drove my love and passion for the blues, one of greatest entertainers of all time, Elvis Presley.
  • Soldier’s Christmas – is dedicated to the service men and women who sacrifice their lives so Christmas can be freely celebrated each year.
  • O Holy Night – This is not mine, of course.  I was compelled to add this great classic to the eleven originals.   Finally,
  • Names of Jesus – dedicated to the one, the real reason we celebrate this season every year.
